Is there a luggage limit?

Husband and I are taking our honeymoon on the Pride this February (yay!). We are planning to do a lot of water intensive activities when in port, and we own our own dive and snorkel gear that we want to bring with us (except for tanks) so we don't have to use the rental stuff. This is EASILY an entire extra suitcase/duffel bag because of the fins.

 

How many bags are we "allowed" to bring with us? Is it just 1 suitcase and 1 carry on per person? Or will we have some leeway if we aren't as great at packing as we are hoping we will be and have to bring an extra bag with us?

We always pack a huge duffle bag for our dive gear. Never had a problem with 2 bags per person.

I believe it's two checked bags per person.

Limit is whatever you can stuff in your car, or willing to pay the airlines.

We're divers too & never had problems with 4 dive bags, 4 large luggage, 2 carryons for our family.

We've maxed out the SUV.

Just tip the porters a little extra, & don't pack your dive knife in those bags.

Thank you everyone! Very helpful and eases our mind that we won't have to do "creative" packing to try and bring the stuff we need/want to have with us. I'll make sure to bring a little extra cash for the porters handling our bags though since we'll possibly be handing them slightly more than the average couple.
