hi going on the orchestra for first time in October do they have self service laundrettes with irons or can you ask steward to bring an iron to your cabin.

No, they don't have either a self service laundry nor will they lend you an iron or allow you to bring one onboard.

 

You have to use their laundry service which is very good. Quite expensive, like hotels, if you pay by the item but they have an excellent package where they do up to 20 items for €25 for regular service or €40 for express service. You don't need to send the 20 items at the same time but but can split it in to several batches throughout your cruise.

Can't fault the laundry service on MSC we use it everytime we sail. They do really good deals and I love coming back to the cabin to find all our clothes washed, ironed and hanging up all fresh as a daisy. I don't find it expensive at all and is part of our holiday experience, just like overpriced pringles and 7up on the plane. :D
