Garment Bag suggestion

My husband, my son and I will be going on a 12 day cruise. We will pack 2 suits and 2 sports jackets(for husband and son) and 1 long gown for me. Should we pack those in a separate garment bag? Which kind do you recommend, the carry-on kind or the wheeled kind? Since we each will have a wheeled suitcase, it will be hard to pull 2 wheeled suitcases, or do you piggyback them? Let me know what you do.
