ricktwo Posted November 12, 2014 #26 Share Posted November 12, 2014 if I arrive at 11:00 on Monday and depart the garage by 10:00 on Saturday, will I be charged for five days or six days? That is five "days" - Port Everglades (and the FLL airport garage) use the parking (and rental car) standard definition of days, meaning they all count based on the "start" date/time. Not sure how Port Canaveral calculates it, but I have heard they use a different method of counting days.

I think I will just park at the port since I missed the Park N Go deal by waiting too long to book. Lesson learned! Port Canaveral used to calculate it that way too, but a few years ago, they changed it. They began charging full price on the day of departure and the day of arrival. To me, that was "double dipping" by charging both departing and arriving passengers for the same exact parking space. That's when I decided to park offsite and have had good luck with Park N Cruise. I see now on the Port Canaveral website that they no longer charge by the day, but by the cruise... although the prices still reflect charging for an extra day at $15 per day: 3-night-$60, 4-night-$75, 5-night-$90, 6-night-$105, 7-night-$120 and 8-night-$135 for vehicles up to 20 feet in length.
