Reliable taxis?

We'd like to take a taxi over to St. Jean but are a bit concerned about getting a taxi back to Gustavia since we've read you have to pre-arrange for one. Has anyone had any trouble with drivers not returning to pick them up?

Taxis are very reliable. No issue.

 

Note that you HAVE TO book your return in advance. You will not be able to call a taxi at the last minute. There are few taxis on the island and they get booked.

How do you book the taxi's? Is there a website? We will be going there in two weeks and wondered if we could have the driver give us a "tour"
