Liberty/boxed wine/Port Canaveral

Hey! I just wanted to say that I just got off the Liberty Feb 8-15th in Port Canaveral, and was SHOCKED that aside from placing our carry on bags through a metal detector that they never checked our wine/champagne or drinks that we brought on. This was the 1st time EVER they have never inspected or even taken a glance for that matter at our soda or water?!?! We were shocked!

 

We were speaking to another couple on board later about it, and they said that their carry on bags were checked?!? Very odd! If I wouldve known, I wouldve brought on more drinks. lol

Cops don't ticket every speeder. Fishermen/women don't catch every fish in the river. :D

 

I highly suspect demographics (age/dress/attitude) have something to do with how thoroughly your stuff gets searched.
