"Tour" ideas please. Less driving/Listening, more exploring.

I put together a good idea of what we wanted to see on St. Kitts then started to research the means of how we would do it. Came across Javin. Boy, seemed too good to be true. Climbing down to the black rocks, exploring the rainforest, then beach/snorkeling. Unfortunately while there is room on our day, our boat comes in too late and they will be gone.

 

I'm sort of inundated with all of the tour rec's I've read on this board. I've had experiences on previous cruises of booking a highly rec'ed tour operator but it's not quite active enough for me. Really what we want, is someone to drive us from place to place, but a bit more hands on than just a taxi driver. We are not really interested in the Fortress, or the Batik Factory etc. Maybe pulling over for a photo, but that's it. We'd really like to check out some rainforest areas, but not a whole/half day hike. An hour or so maybe. We definitely want to spend some time in/near the water.

 

Does this elusive tour operator exist? And his/her name isn't Javin? :)
