A couple of weeks back the subject of game shows on board came up.

 

Someone said no gameshows on Quantum.

 

Tonight in the theatre we have the love and marriage gameshow at 9:30 pm

Love and Marriage was also on our 11/23 and 12/1 cruises.

Love & Marriage is held in the theater just like it always has. There is NO Quest due to a lack of suitable venue. The SeaPlex is the right size, but no area for teams/viewers. The Music Hall and Two70 has enough space, but would be too dangerous with all the walls/stairs.

There was the love and marriage game show on my sailing 12/20 -- but it was boring!!!! I did not find the emcee Jimmy Rhodes entertaining at all.

 

A really funny show was the Battle of the Sexes held in the Music Hall.

 

They could do Quest in the music hall, its smaller it, but they could manage.

Quantum did have "sing it if you know it" in Boleros, though was done much differently than on Freedom. In music hall they had "Do it in 60 seconds or less" as well as Battle of the Sexes (both exactly same as Freedom). Family Feud was left out.

 

Edit: on the 12/12 cruise the newly weds actually won the L&M show, something the older couple has almost always won in my experience.

L&M- royal theater

Millionaire- music hall

Battle of the sexes- music hall
