Ship time vs. island time. San Juan 3-9

I will be taking a cruise in February and the cruise website says that we will be docking in San juan from 3pm-9pm. I've read a few things about the time being an hour ahead in San juan. So does this mean that we will be in port from 4-10pm San Juan time? I was planning on touring one of the forts but if we only get in at 4pm San juan time, I don't know if I will have enough time to explore the fort before the closing time at 6. So I may want to change my plans if this is the case.

Probably depends on your ship time.... Puerto Rico is on AST (Atlantic Standard Time) check and see what time zone your departure time zone is. Sounds like you will have enough time to get to San Cristobal and tour it... then you can go look at the outside of El Morro and the cemetery by it and then walk down through the city.
