We are about 6 of us off cruise on Sunday from 9-8. We want to spend about an hour exploring town then go to a beach.

I know there are tours, party bus etc. But what are the alternatives for transportation besides renting car? I thought I read for 15 pp one way to Cas Abou. Then how would we get back? Ask restaurant to call cab? 15 pp back.

Someone in our group found someone ( didn't get name) private tourof 45 each roundtrip, only includes transportation to Cas Abou and Kokomo. How is Kokomo?

Do you have any other ideas?

The one way fare to Cas Abao is indeed $ 40 - 45 (transportation only).

You need to arrange a time with the driver to pick you up, as there will be no empty taxis waiting at that beach.

If I were you I would go to the beach first, then come back to the ship - shower/change and then walk to town.

Since it's Sunday, the beaches will be sort of crowded and you want to get there early to grab beach chairs, etc.

Kokomo? Hmm. Not my favorite. The entrance is VERY rocky. It's a nice place to have drinks, watch the sunset etc. But not perfect for an entire day at the beach.
