Is there a bus from Nelson's Dockyard to Valley Church Beach?

Planning on going to Nelson's in the am by using bus #17. Sightsee, then want to go to Valley Church Beach for the rest of the day. Questions - is there a bus that goes from Nelson's Dockyard to Valley Church Beach? If there is a bus that goes from Nelson's to the beach - what is the number? I know beach bus is #22 - do we look for that bus? Do we take a bus and ask the driver to let us know when we get to VCB? I know we can take a taxi, but prefer to go by bus, if available. Sitting in the airport - just off the RC Jewel. Bus 22 got us to valley church beach (nest beach bar). There are quite a few buses on this route. They drop you at the road that leads down to the beach. You have to walk about 1000 feet to the water. We only waited a few minutes after walking back to the road to get another 22 bus back to town. Great savings from taking a taxi!!

There is no bus from Nelson's Dockyard to Valley Church beach. You would have to go all the way back into St. John's bus station and then back out again. Take too long. Take a taxi. Nice ride through Fig Tree Drive.
