NCL Gem in Puerto Rico ?

I booked a private tour in Puerto Rico on 3/31 and time is stated as 8am-5pm. Our guide needs to know what pier and about what time to pick us up. Should we be off by 8:30am? Or should I tell him 9am?

Also what will all aboard be? 4:30pm? I can't remember but I thought maybe 30 minutes prior?

Also will ship time and island time be the same?

Any recent cruisers have info?

Thanks!!!!!!

Yes, ship is always on the same time as the port. PR doesn't observe daylight savings time, so it's the same as east coast in summer. All pax back aboard 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Better give yourself a bigger margin since you're on a private excursion. Balcony passengers enjoy the entertainment provided by the pier racers, trying to get back to the ship.
