KimmyinLA Posted September 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2005 Hello, I'm sure this has been answered before but my searching abilities must be off this morning as I can't find the answer. First, how much OBC do you receive for booking a future cruise (7night/balcony) while you're on cruise? Also, does Princess have a shareholder's benefits program (currently in effect)? If so, will they combine that OBC with future booking OBC? Thanks in advance to those who can answer this question...
BigTimeCruiser Posted September 10, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2005 Yes, Princess does have a shareholder program (100 shares or more). The last time I checked with the shareholder office, no Princess OBC's and shareholder credit could be combined. The shareholder credit is approved each year by the Board of Directors.:)

imacruizer Posted September 10, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2005 What can the shipboard credit be used for? What is excluded?
CroozBlooz Posted September 11, 2005 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2005 One caveat, the OBC for being a shareholder generally can be combined with an OBC received for a group booking with your travel agent. However, I found that the $100 OBC for a group booking could only be $50 if combined with the $100 OBC for being a shareholder. Don't know why, exactly, but it still put us $50 ahead. The OBC can be used for any charges aboard the ship. They sometimes say that the credits cannot be used for gratuities, but that has not been my experience. ajdegumbia Posted September 11, 2005 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2005 Can shareholder credit be used with the open booking credit? For some reason I thought CCL changed when and how you could use shareholder credits. Thanks for your help since I have an open booking credit which I would also like to use and get my CCL credit.
