Massages?

I was thinking of getting a massage onboard the Caribbean Princess in May. Does anyone know what a Swedish massage is? I haven't heard of that one; is it just a regular one? What would you recommend?

I couldn't tell you what it is, but I booked it for my wife anf myself while we are in Princess Cays at 3 in the afternoon it is cheaper while we are in a port instead of a sea day.

We are on the CP on 5/8

Swedish massage is a "relaxation" massage. That is what most people opt for and I think what most have in mind when they think of a massage IMHO. In my mind - you just can't go wrong with a massage!! Enjoy!

According to the Lotus Spa book I picked up today, it says "Ideal for the first-time spa experience, this relaxing therapy utilizes fice specific movements: long strokes, kneading, friction, tapping and vibration to detoxify the body, ease sore muscles, relieve tension and improve circulation".

 

And that sounds great!!!!

On my recent Diamond Princess cruise, we stopped in Mazatlan and within 5 minutes walking distance of the ship, I got the best massage I've ever had in my life. 75 minutes for $30! And no hard sell or push to buy any products. The last massage I got onboard was $99 as a special, and I think it was 50 minutes, and not nearly as good.
