Park, Stay, and Cruise in Charleston?

I'm trying to find a good Deal. The only place I can find with round trip shuttle service is the Hampton inn for $140.

 

Where do you all recommend? We will be a party of 6 so so don't think a cab would work.

We too wanted the same deal but intend to take taxi morning of cruise (so not looking for shuttle) in August, the Hampton Patriots Point is where we booked as well. It's in a safe area, someone told me the water taxi is not far so getting into Charleston to sight see is easy from there (we are going a couple days ahead as we are only 3.5 hrs drive to port), the hotel has good reviews.

 

Many of the hotels do not seem to have the cruise package unless you go out by the airport, we wanted to be closer and we also did not want the valet parking that the downtown hotels seem to have.
