Kids clubs on Queen Victoria

Hi, we are looking to go on the Queen Victoria in July. I will be travelling with my parents and 12 year old son. I was wondering if anyone knew how strict Cunard were on the kids club ages. My son will be 13 a few months after we travel and I really can't see him enjoying the lower age group club where we have to sign him in and out. Would he be able to join the teens at 13+?

Many thanks

Nik

We have often travelled with our family and the grandchildren have certainly enjoyed what Cunard have to offer: they are now 10 and 6.

However, I think you will find they are quite strict, as booking is made on age criteria numbers. We have been wait listed before because for one of the children the age group was full. With this in mind, and being in the summer, what you want might not be possible. Also, they maybe restricted by insurance!

Try phoning Cunard, and find out their stance before you book.
