American Icon, The Grande, Silk... I'm confused!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'll be sailing on Oasis in August (can't wait, my second cruise and my first on RCCI), but I'm a bit confused about MDR options...

Are these three (Grande, Silk and American Icon) offering the same menu, or is there any difference? Is it just a mere "logistic" matter?

As per the RCCI website, Silk is offering a fusion of Asian cuisines, just to make an example....so, can I choose any of these three as my MDR ?

I'll have My time dining option.

Thanks for your help

Currently, all three of restaurants you mentioned have the same menus and serve the same food each evening. I have read that American Icon is used for My Time.

Dynamic Dining which these restaurants were built for during the drydock has not commenced yet on the Oasis class ships. So currently they are acting as your standard MDR.
