Use of internet on-board, I see in the catalogue that the costs are Internet 250minutes at £62.50 and Internet 100 minutes at £35 or 50p per minute. Are other packages available when you get on the ship. I don't want as much as 100 minutes but the other option at 50p minute is very high.

I think you will find these are the only package options available.

 

As you say the other option is pay as you go.

 

FYI - I booked in advance and I got an additional 20 mins extra free of charge & was advised that if I activated my account on day 1 of the cruise they would also give me another 20 mins, so in effect 140 mins for £35.

 

Not much good for you I know if you don't think you will use 100 mins!

We bought a package on our first cruise, but wouldn't bother again, especially as you have to be so careful with time online and remembering to log off before closing down your device. (I wasn't :()

 

We have found that the easiest thing to do is use free wifi in and around the ports. Many/most cafes around the ports have it.

We are going to Norwegian Fjords on Saturday. Are first time cruising so are getting excited now.
