Port Canaveral Excursion - Daytona USA

We weren't really sure what to do in Port Canveral on Friday. We weren't interested in NASA and felt it wasn't worth the cost for the amount of time at Disney/Universal/etc. We stopped at the Information Desk and asked for suggestions. We got the usual recommendations - Cocoa Beach, Cocoa Village, etc. Not sure what to do we decided to rent a car and just drive around. When we got to the rental car office I saw Daytona on the map, and asked how far away it was. When the guy told me an hour that solved our dilemma of what to do. The car rental with gas was $50, the whole works package at Daytona (tour, museum, IMAX movie, a couple attractions) cost $40 for DW and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, and I'd recommend it to any other NASCAR fans!
