UDP questions for traveling companions

In an earlier thread I posted that we are on the Escape next month, traveling with another family. We both have meal freebie. However, we booked not too long ago and have the newer version.

 

Our friends have had there cruise booked for months and have the original plan.

 

My buddy called NCL directly and we think they were given wrong info.

 

1) On the old plan, is the 18% service fee included.

2) Do there kids get to order of the specialty menu? amenities show kids meal plan included

3) is there a discount on Baymo & Food Republic.

4) is it strickly for 7 meals, or 1 resturant per day for the entire cruise?
