We are a family of four (10 and 12 year old girls). We chose a large table seating for our upcoming Voyager of the Sea cruise. Does the cruise line attempt to seat you with other familes with children or is the seat assignment totally random?

Sometimes it seems a little random, but for the most part they try their hardest to seat like with like. I am sure they will try to seat you will another family (or 2). The funniest is when they see me and my partner travelling together and think that we are a couple of single men, so they seat us with single women. Surprise!!! I think for the most part the women end up enjoying us much more as they don't have to deal with drunk men trying to hit on them. And then there are those who want the drunk men hitting on them.
