Hotel for family w/ beach

Staying 2 nights before cruise and 2 nights after cruise.

Having heart burn over the costs!

 

Regardless, looking for a hotel with a great pool and beach. Prefer a hotel that offers a suite so we can put the little ones to bed and not have to sit in the dark in whisper being in one room.

 

Any suggestions? I know the Embassy Suites comes up a lot for families but is there a beach on the property? If not, how far is the walk? And are their restaurants in walking distance.

 

Already familiar with the intercontinental but looking too pricey. For a 2 night stay in a suite it would be almost $1000

Embassy Suites is about 2.5-3 blocks from the ocean. There are several restaurants in easy walking distance. Also in the same area, you could consider Hampton Inn and Suites. Their website says they do have suites.
