Kenai Fjords Nation Park excursion

We are taking 7 day land trip to Alaska in July on Princess and I have been watching to see the excursions listed. When at last they were listed the Kenai Fjords trip was sold out. Is it possible they will open up another trip or are we just out of luck?

Check your excursion reservations again. I was able to reserve the excursion today after several weeks of seeing "sold out".

There is NO need to book through Princess. (which will be the "regular" 6 hour Kenai fjords "company" tour. Be CERTAIN, this is the tour you are looking at- with it showing, it's about 8 hours.

 

 

You can just take the Kenai Princess Lodge shuttle bus to Seward and go on any tour you want. I give an edge to Major Marine- with their double glacier routing of Aialik and Holgate tour= just excellent. they also have a Park Ranger on board, have assigned seating (a LOT of positives), comp coffee and tea and better food-extra charge. Verify, however for next season. I would suggest taking a shuttle bus at least a half hour prior to any tour start, so leaving the Kenai Princess Lodge an hour and half prior.
