TexasGal62 Posted October 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2005 We'll be in PV on 11/04 from 7-5 (okay ... we probably won't even get off the ship until 8:30 and need to be back by 4:00). We've never been to PV before but have always wanted to get to the Bucerias/Sayulita area to explore there. Have heard the beaches are just nicer up there. Does anyone know how long it takes to get there by taxi and what the cost would be? Would it be fairly easy to get a taxi back to the ship or should we arrange for the same driver to pick us up?? And if anyone knows of any 'must see/must do' places of interest, please advise. Thanks!
seabreezer Posted October 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2005 Bucerias is about 20 minutes from the airport - not sure how close that is to the cruise terminal. Cab ride would be about $40 from the airport but there are buses that run very frequently and also continue on to Punta Mita which also has nice beaches, too. There are also taxis in Bucerias, Sayulita and Punta Mita.
pvpam Posted October 3, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Hola from PV....from the Terminal Marina, a taxi ride would be about 20-30 minutes. If you take a yellow taxi out on the main road in front of the terminal marina where you will be docked, the cost will be about 25-30USD. Taxis are plentiful. Sayluita is a whole different story. Much further and since you won't be in port that long, doubt if you could do it.
