Happy Monday! We booked last year while on the Breakaway for a July 2016 sailing to Bermuda and chose the UDP...now that they are going a la carte...what happens to that deal? I assume that they will honor it...am I just naive?:D

Yes. You will still use your UDP.

The old UDP is still valid and you should not incur any charges. Also, with the UDP, you are not limited to the number of days you may use it (unlike the SDP, which has a specific number of meals).

We were on the Escape last month and used the UDP for Cagney's and Le Bistro with the new a la carte menu. Our bill was $0. Limit to one main course .

 

So Yes, they will honor the UDP.
