Magic vs Breeze

They are sister ships with the same layout and deck plans but the Breeze is newer. They also have a choice on balcony types on these new ships. You can choose from a regular balcony and an enclosed cove balcony. I'll be sailing the Breeze in March and I'll do a long thorough review. 😊

Breeze is newer.

Breeze decor is more muted. Magic is more traditional Carnival.

Breeze currently has more of the 2.0 upgrades.

If the cruise were today I would pick the Breeze, hands down but if its after Magic drydock in Feb/Mar, then I might go Magic as she will not only have the things we love and want from Breeze but will be somewhat spiffed up from drydock.

Itenaries would be the deciding factor after drydock.

I think the only thing Magic isn't getting is bonsai sushi and thrill theatre but we never used the theater and did sushi only once, so not a big loss.

For me it would probably boil down to travel expense.

The only thing missing from the Magic in August will be Bonsai Sushi and Trill Theater.

It can be expensive to get from the Houston airports to Galveston so you have to factor that in as well.
