Predicted and then got the Upsell Call

Sailing on Carnival Triumph for a 4 day Spring Break cruise with my niece and booked an inside. Final payment was yesterday. This morning I was looking at the number of balcony cabins still available. I thought about what upsell I would consider. I settled on $200 after some math calculations. Two hours later, I GOT the CALL. Upsell for a balcony was $200. The Carnival rep said there was a large number of unsold balconies and I could have any of them. I called my niece who was with a friend who was sailed with us several times. She talked her friend into booking with us. SO we took the upsell to a 3-person Verandah deck midship balcony. It ended up costing us $37 dollars more than we had already paid for our inside. (Total cruise price/3)

 

Maybe I can predict the lottery numbers for tonight.

What is the caller id of your upsell fairy. I've been getting calls from area code 210 but I normally do not take unknown calls. I'll be on Triumph March 7.

305 area code I answered so quickly the number didn't register on my phone.
