Tunis - Feel Safe there?

We did the all day ship tour when we were there too and we also felt safe. It was a different experience for me I'm not used to be chased down the street to buy something and nobody here offers thousands of camels in exchange for me. If I had more money with me I would have bought one of the beautiful rugs they were selling, maybe I will buy one in Turkey next year.

 

Sidi bou Said is Tijuana squared or maybe cubed. I just don't like shopping that way. I picked up a pair of earrings to look at and decided I didn't really like them. That was a big mistake. They think if you touch something you want to buy it and the guy wouldn't let me alone. I finally just walked away.

 

But I didn't ever feel unsafe. As my husband said (he's RSQUARE), he walked out of the shopping area into the town and it was lovely and perfectly safe. Unfortunately, it was really hot and my feet hurt, so I sat and waited for him.
