Carnival cabin selection

Hi, regulars may know this ... when on the cabin selection page of the web-site they give you 10 cabins to choose from. Is there a way to pick a cabin not on the list ... I have been recommended a particular one and I'd love to know if I can choose it ... but I don't know how or even if it's possible. So can you select your own or do you just get what you get?

Agreed that you should book by phone. The website will never give more than 10 cabins in a category. That's just how they've done it for as long as I have been looking. The phone reps are able to see all available rooms, so if the room you want isn't taken, then they can book you into it.

I had to call and book over the phone. I was able to select a cabin further down the map that way. I wish they would just show all cabins available, that would make it so much easier.
