ScubaJim Posted March 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2016 Planning on doing some snorkeling in Belize in January. How cool is the water at that time of the year and would I need a 1mm wetsuit or a diveskin
divinmule Posted March 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2016 Pulled out my log book from our Belize dive in Early Feb ...water temp at 50 feet was 79 degrees...I dove in a 3ml long and was quite comfortable So I would think a 1ml short is what I would use if I was snorkeling. Or just take a 1 ml shirt to wear. My husband would probably just go w a rash guard. Just depends a bit if your cold natured and if it's a sunny day. Have fun.
