Interior to Guarantee Balcony

Hello All-

 

Quick question that I can't seem to find the answer to.

 

I am traveling on the Epic in June and I like to track the prices now and then. I went on this morning and saw that the guarantee balcony is about the same price as my inside room.

 

If I call, would they let me upgrade to that room? I wasn't sure if they would since it is guarantee and not a direct balcony room. I had luck with switching from an interior to a family balcony in March on the Dawn.

 

(p.s. please spare the "book the room you want in the first place" talks. I am fine with the interior, but I thought I would ask. :) )

We upgraded on the Getaway from an inside to a GTY balcony without a problem. It was even cheaper than the inside. Good luck!

I called and they let me upgrade AND gave me another perk!!! FOr only 70 dollars more.
