wilfking Posted October 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2005 Could anyone please give me some advice on the voltage aboard the Mariner of the Seas, coming from the UK with our 240volt supply am I correct in assuming that the voltage will be 110volts. We have sailed previously on the Voyager of the Seas but then my wife used the hair drier supplied in our stateroom however we are taking friends with us this trip and they have hair driers, hot brush etc.
madforcruising Posted October 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2005 Can´t answer specifically for the Mariner, but all ships I´ve been on so far had 110V outlets as well as 220V. The 110V ones are the American style sockets, the 220V ones are European style (i.E. Germany) but I think not UK style. If I remember corectly UK has other sockets. wilfking Posted October 16, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted October 16, 2005 Many Thanks, we will only need an adapter to convert from UK plugs to Euro.
