Our tour to aqua land got cancelled-I gave my DD a choice of booking the excursion on our own or staying on the pool deck, kids club and massages-she opted to skip aqua land . Since I want to get off in Kotor tomorrow-we decided to make today a sea day and get messages and stay on pool deck.

 

My mom is getting a Bali massage, I am getting a Bali and a hot stone and even DD will get a Bali. She and I will be in the same room since she is a minor (and a spoiled one at that [emoji57])

After making our spots, we went for gelato.

 

I got chocolate orange and coffee. My mom got coffee and cherry vanilla. They were delicious. About 12 flavor so that change daily.

Going to take a shower and get ready for or massages. Afterwards we will spend a few hours on the pool deck and have a late dinner at the buffet.

Thank you for all the pics! I can't wait. Thank god we have two free massages included in the Aurea package. We go to Bali all the time and don't pay anymore than 10 euros for an hour massage!!! My girls will enjoy testing their Indonesian on the Balinese ladies

I got an espresso and spent the rest of the evening in the whirlpools. My only critique would be the water is not hot enough, Carnival has spoiled me in that area, their whirlpools are super hot!

It's 8:00pm here, going to shower and get ready for dinner. Then will do some final shopping, watch a show and tomorrow it's Kotor!

She loves it, I can't drag her out. They go all over the ship and have lots of activities-I would guess most of their communication is non verbal as my DD speaks English and the kids speak many other languages. My DD understands Italian but won't speak it. They do kids make up everyday with different themes. Yesterday she was a zombie. There are a wide variety of languages in the club, English Italian and French is most popular.

 

 

I like the cultural exposure she is getting. She is calling me Madame now lol

Btw their oatmeal is so creamy and delicious! I add raisins and cinnamon sugar. I can live on this stuff. As well as their Danish and whole grain croissants-so fresh and crisp. I add butter and blueberry jam.

 

I have to say I am very impressed with the food choices on this ship.

So MSC uses lifeboats as tenders into Kotor

 

 

 

So I made the mistake of going back to bed after sail in and woke up at 11. The ships back on board time is 12:30 so I didn't have enough time to go into town. For some reason I mistakingly thought I had till 1500.[emoji19]

 

Staying on board today-found these little gems at the coffee bar. My DD had 6. I had 2-delicious and still hot.

Coffee tea and water from ice machine is free 24 hours. Bottled water is free for Americans at dinner.

 

Juices are free for breakfast. We haven't had to buy drinks as we got 40 coupons with our booking. Last night and w have 4 coupons left. The coupons cover every drink including coffee. There are some drinks which are marked with an asterisk that are not included, but the options are plenty. This is the lowest my cruise account has ever been. Our onboard credit took care of our tips. The value of this cruise cannot be beat.

Tonight s our last night and we will be having dinner at their specialty restaurant, Shanghai-also included with our booking. I'm also going to check on the credit for future cruises-I may cox next years Disney cruise and go on the Divina instead-it's fair to say MSC has a new fan in me and my family. [emoji41]

Yes I was concerned too. You have to take bad reviews with a grain of salt. People bash carnival and I am very happy with them. I was very pleased with MSC and I will book with them again.

 

I'll give a complete review when I get back about each category along with critiques but I am generally very happy with this cruise line. As I said I want to book the Divina as soon as I can accrue more time off. [emoji848][emoji41]❤️

 

 

The service has been stellar and it beats carnival. You never have to look for a server. They are all over and VERY attentive.

 

Heading to Shanghai now...
