Allure group bookings

hi there! does anyone know what benefits there are for booking 8 cabins on Allure as a group booking? Looking at travelling June 2017. Thanks!

If you have booked 8 staterooms, each with at least 2 guests, then you should get a TC (tour conductor) credit equal to the fare of one person in the most booked stateroom category. Additionally, depending on the sailing, there may be GAP (group amenity program) points available which could result in other perks, such as OBC.

oK thanks, is it better to book through RC direct or a travel agent? which is more likely to have better perks? and do they have the availability to check for the GAP programme if you give them a ship class and approximate date if you're a little flexible?

From what I understand the GAP points apply to individual sailings, so you would have to give them a range.

 

With regard to RC or a travel agent, I don't have a feel for which (if any) would be better. However, I would make sure you find out the terms before you book, because they don't have to pass on the TC credit.

We just booked a group of 8 for next year on the Allure and this is our group discount

 

"Each room is receiving $50 onboard credit for being a part of the group, on top of any promotional onboard credit they booked under. The tour conductor credit is currently $878, if this was split amongst the 8 rooms, it will be an additional $109 onboard credit. So each room will receive $50 obc +$109 obc + promotional obc (if applicable)."
