Sport fishing charter

Trying to lure non-cruise loving husband onto a family 5 night Anthem cruise to Bermuda next June. Anyone have experience with billfish charters? Ship arrives I port at 9 am...will charters wait and depart after that (most I looked at seem to say they leave at 7 am)?
