Snorkeling in Bermuda - excursions and beaches?

How is the snorkeling in Bermuda? I see snorkel excursions, but see few reviews. We'll be there the first week in September and hope to do a sail / snorkel excursion and explore shore snorkeling.

Any suggestions for excursions & beaches to check out? Places to avoid? We've snorkeled quite a bit in Mexico/Western Caribbean, but it's my first time to Bermuda.
