Technically she is below the age which the dress codes should be enforced but generally it is best in my opinion to follow the codes if you wish and many younger cruisers like this. I am thinking on black tie nights dress as if going to a posh party. There might well be a Black and White theme evening or other themed evening so check P&O website for your cruise. You might like to follow them closely but not everybody stays rigidly on the nights "theme".

If she is anything like my daughter she will want to dress up, but I wouldn't go too overboard as she will probably want to have kids' tea and go to club some nights. My daughter had a couple of smart dresses, a bolero cardigan and a couple of sparkly handbags with some pretty shoes. Oh and some costume jewellery!
