Golf/Mexican Riviera/Sapphire/10-22

Just some quick info for anyone interested. DH golfed at each port through Princess Golf. As a previous poster mentioned, the Cabo excursion price was raised from $160 to $230. People complained and were given a $70 credit if they had booked before the cruise. Also there was a 10% "golf gratuity" added to bill. (Is this standard for Princess golf?) Pro said to speak to him if anyone had a problem with it. So for the 3 excursions, the total "golf gratuity" was almost $50. Interestingly, the Cabo gratuity was based on the $230 charge and not the $160.

 

Scheduled return times were off by 2 hours at Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan and 1 hour at Cabo. Not sure if that is the only reason we left Cabo late.

 

There were approximately 30 golfers for each excursion. DH enjoyed all three courses, especially Cabo.

Yes. For lessons or golf simulator set-up, as well.

 

It's relatively new, because in the past, it has been discretionary.
