Pinel Island or Shipwreck Cove Snorkeling Tour??

Has anyone done either of these tours? What's your thoughts and what were they like. Any help or comments appreciated. Have loved the help from this site :)Phyllis

I've been to both. Neither are spectacular but Pinel Island is the better of the two.

 

Shipwreck Cove, although it has an enchanting name, is quite poor. The "shipwrecks" are nothing more than a couple of 15'-20' drug running boats that were sunk after being seized. They haven't been down long enough to have any coral growth on them. In addition, they are in water that's deep enough that you will quite a dive to get up close. I think this tour is a rip-off. The best part of it is its name.

Pinel Island was GREAT! Clean, quick, inexpensive and AWESOME BBQ'd lobster on the beach.
