Vila - Raru Rentapao waterfall & blue lagoon - have you been?

Hi guys,

 

Going to Vila on our cruise next week and cascade waterfalls are dry!!

 

I've read this is the only flowing waterfall and has a blue lagoon swimming hole.

 

Have you been? How far is it from the ship?

 

Is it possible to get there with a driver instead of booking a local tour before hand, as we are still not yet 100%.

The Blue Lagoon is not connected to the Cascades Waterfall. You can easy hire a mini bus and driver to take you to The Blue Lagoon. They will be in abundance near the wharf. On Trip Advisor search in forums for Vanuatu or Port Vila. There are regular contributors on these forums with heaps of local knowledge.

I believe the blue hole is near the Raru Rentapao falls, not Cascade Waterfalls.

 

We had been planning to go to Cascade Waterfalls however reports are that it is dry!
