Norwegian Spirit Balconies

My Wife and I are planning on Cruising on the Norwegian Spirit in August in the Mediterranean. We normally like to get an Aft Balcony, but, the Spirit only has Suites on the back of Deck 9. So, we are interested in a Balcony on Deck 10.

Does anybody have any information on a Balcony Room on the 10th floor ?

Are they all the same size ? Is there a bigger one ? Is there a better location ? We do tend to like the aft of the ship, but, is there something better about the front of the ship ?

Anyway, if anybody has any information or photos, we sure would appreciate it !

Thanks in advance,

Dave & Lee

Balcony cabins are 161 sq ft and balconies are 30 sq ft

We had a mid-ship balcony on Deck 10 last April and really enjoyed it.

The balconies are all the same on the Spirit.

Except 10686, on the port side, last cabin on the 10th deck, has a huge room, its twice as big as all other balcony cabins. Many folks know about it, so its grabbed first. There is no equivalent on the starboard side, its a one and only.

The afts are all suites, as well as the front of the ship.

We agree, the afts are great cabins, those are the ones we always try to book.

The suites on the Spirit are lots larger then on the new ships, they are great.

Check out shipcabins dot com, for pics of the various cabins.

The balconies on the spirit are smaller than the newer ships generally but the ship wasn't made for NCL. It was originally superstar Leo and ended up with NCL almost by accident.

Very interesting ship, it's by far my favourite. So elegant and spacious.

Lots of photos here: http://cruisingisntjustforoldpeople.co.uk/2016/10/15/ncls-norwegian-spirit-my-favourite-cruise-ship/ :-)

Have a fabulous time!!!
