Southern Caribbean Suggestions

Hello,

 

We are sailing on the RCCL Jewel on February 12 and have yet to plan excursions. I know we are cutting it close! :)

 

We are sailing from San Juan and will be going to St. Thomas, St. John's, St. Kitt's, St. Marten and Barbados.

 

I am physically disabled and use a power wheelchair but will also have a manual wheelchair that I can use as needed for doing things. I will be traveling with my PCA and my mom, both whom can transfer me and carry me a few steps. I have been to many islands and have been good at finding fun and exciting things for me to do in the past, even if it requires a little extra effort and creativity. I'm very adventurous. We would like a mix of some beaches and some activities.

 

I'd appreciate suggestions for all the destinations - in the past I have had the best luck and experience with private companies vs booking through the cruise line.

I'm curious what you did in St. Kitts. My 15yo daughter is disabled and in a wheelchair. I'm looking for accessible tours for our Southern Caribbean cruise this summer.

In St. Kitts we took a taxi to a beach club. The taxi vans have back seats that fold out of the way, so we lifted me and my manual wheelchair into the back of the van.
