Airport Adventure Snorkeling Excursion St. Martin

I posted this in the St. Martin board but haven't got a response so hoping to here. We are booked for this excursion through RCC and I was wondering how it is? The reviews I read online seemed mixed. We aren't expecting to go to the beach as some reviewers were disappointed but would like to have decent snorkeling and and nice boat tour there.

I haven't been on this specific excursion, but we've been to Maho beach to watch the planes land. Is that where the snorkeling is? I can't imagine it would be very good as the beach is quite small.

 

There is a nice bar there to get drinks and watch the planes land and take off...blowing the people across the sand. It's an amazing experience.

Actually from what I read the the boat picks us up at the port and cruises around the island just off Maho Beach and that is where we snorkel. We aren't able to go to the beach which we are fine with since we are really wanting to just snorkel while there and see some planes come in. I was just wondering if the snorkeling is good there.
