Hi does anyone know how many paying Restaurants there are aboard the MSC Splendida, and if its worth to pay the extra money to eat in any of those restaurants. Thank you kindly for your feedback, greatly appreciated...have a fantastic day!

There is a Tex Mex restaurant called Santa Fe (tacos and fajitas and steaks), and the Sports Bar also has a menu of bar snacks and burgers etc. for an extra charge.

 

We didn't eat anything at the Sports Bar. If you have any kind of Tex Mex where you live, it's probably better than the Tex Mex place on board. But if you want to have steak on this ship, you have to either go there or pay the extra charge for a T-bone in the dining room. (I guess they probably have steak in the Yacht Club restaurant, too.)

 

To be honest, the best food was in the buffet. Not saying the dining room food was that bad, but the buffet was surprisingly good, particularly at lunchtime.

I just got off of the Splendida and spent time in the sports bar. The food there is free. Only burger, hotdog, cheesesticks and fries and salad. Thats it.

Good to know! That has changed quite recently. When we were there in mid-February, I think the menu may have been a little more extensive, but everything had a price on it (but no red asterisk, so maybe it was already free for Allegrissimo package holders? I never thought to ask.)

We are planning to purchase the package so that we can enjoy that part of the cruise at the very least...:) thanks for all the information and replies, at least our expectations will not be too high. A great day to all....
