Thanksgiving in Honolulu

Recommended Posts

On Wednesday, my wife and I will be arriving in Honolulu for a four night pre-cruise stay at the Radissin Waikiki. Does anyone know if there are any special events: parades, lighting ceremonies, etc... planned over Thanksgiving week. I read that Honolulu Hale was a place to see, but is it going to be lit up this early in the season.

Thanks for any advice you may be able to provide.

And If you value your life, you might want to stay away from the shopping malls that weekend. Already it is very difficult to find a parking space even right after opening. But Ala Moana, if you like the crowds, will have their stuff up, a variety of entertainment and things for the keiki (kids) that will get you into the spirit.

I didnt know about the parade...but I can look in my newspaper to see if anything is being advertised. There are lots of lightings in the following week I know of.
