Using Self-Assist in Wheelchair out of Galveston

There was a question asked some time back about using self-assist if you were using a wheelchair or scooter.

Last year when we went on Liberty of the Seas, they specifically stated that anyone in a wheelchair or using a scooter could not use self-assist. However we just got off the LOS and they have changed the process. You are now allowed to use a wheelchair (if you have someone to push you) or a scooter if you can handle your own luggage or have someone with you who can. I think that is great!

Makes sense. No reason to ban someone able to get themselves off the ship on their own. As long as it is clear that there is absolutely zero help available for ANYONE that is fine.

I know a guy he just attaches his carrry on to his belt so it doesn't fall or of his lap and wheels away.
