olson99 Posted April 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2017 Hi I have tried to research this using the search but everything seems to relate from cruise port to airport. Seattle is just a stop on our South Pacific/Australia/NZ cruise. We are a group of 4 (possibly 6) We are at Pier 91 arriving on a Monday from 7 - 4. What would be the cost of a taxi to Chinese Gate International District (5th Ave South and South King Street)? Is there a bus we can take? Any help would be appreciated. Sequim88 Posted April 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2017 Bus routes 19 or 24 will take you down Elliot Ave. to downtown. A few blocks walk from Pier 91. Route 19 Route 24 Either will get you to the end of Jackson St. which is then 8-9 blocks to International District. Metro Transit
Rare martincath Posted April 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2017 Cab should be <$15 metered unless traffic is horrendous - or Uber/Lyft if you have phones with the app & a data plan even less. Another option is EastSideForHire - no app required, just a phone, and fixed price from zip code to zip code, should be $10-12 from Pier 91 to where you're headed. If you can get a van cab that fits you all, almost as cheap and more convenient than buses.
Rare Gardyloo Posted April 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2017 The buses require a bit of a hike and it's a very trafficky area. If there are two or more of you, a cab/Uber will be much more convenient and not much more money than bus fare x your party.
