Private Car Excursion Company Recommendation

Going to Alaska......Land (Fairbanks and Denali) and Cruise to Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, ,Icy Point and Hubbard Glacier

 

Does anyone have some recommendations of specific private car/van companies that does shore excursions..in ports above ....and have been very satisfied with them

 

Would like to book several (with others) while in port instead of from the cruise ship

We did a private tour with Kat from KetchikanTaxiCab Tours in Ketchikan and loved it. They met us at the dock, and took us where we wanted to go. We got some great shots of waterfalls, eagles and the town general.

 

In Skagway, we rented a jeep from Alaska Green Jeeps and drove into the Yukon. The scenery was phenomenal! The jeep comes with a digital guide, so that you receive information on all of the best spots. Emerald Lake is your turn around point. They will also pack you a lunch, but you must request this when you book your jeep.

you are just looking for "city tours"??? You would get more information if you stated the ship tours you wish to duplicate- WITH the details/links posted. (not just tour names if vague)

 

I'm assuming you have a tour in Denali already? Verify it is the Tundra Wilderness tour, and NOT the Natural History tour. Fairbanks usually has inclusions as well.

 

Do you have any interest in Skagway- White Pass RR? Several combo tours to consider.

 

Please clarify with more information. No point in mentioning tours if you have no interest. :)

Icy Strait Point - If you can walk a little, there's plenty to see and do at the pier on foot.
