La Restinga National Park?

Will Be Visiting Margarita Island In January. Have Been To The Beach Across From The Pier And Am Looking For Something Else To Do. Has Anyone Been To La Restinga? How Was It? Is It Worth The Trip? Thanks For Any Information. Abbe

dh and I have been to the port several times on HAL, we've never been to LaRestina, but have always gone to El Agua beach. its not along the pier and requires a bit of a ride, but the beach is gorgeous, lots of beach chairs-we always got them thru the cruise line,but we ate lunch at a few of the restaurants that line the beach-the fish is fresh, delicious, and soooo inexpensive. waiters will bring your tropical drinks right out to you on the sand.
