Star Princess - Alaska - The Sanctuary

First time on Princess and first time to Alaska. Do people use the Sanctuary on an Alaska Cruise? Would be ideal in the Caribbean, but what about Alaska? Will be fortunate to be in a Penthouse Suite. Is the Sanctuary complimentary for suite quests? or does everyone pay the half/full day price.

Appreciate any assistance and comments. Thanks.

We just got off Coral Saturday. I had wondered the same thing but now I can't see using it especially if you have a suite balcony (as we did also). If you want to relax with a blanket, you can do it there for free. We found we preferred being out on the decks for the most part. On sea days it was very cool and we used the thermal suite (complimentary for suite guests), napped or again just sat out on our balcony watching the scenery.

It won't be crowded at any rate so you can just wait and see what you think when you get there and if you want to reserve it, it won't be a problem.
